Groundwork’s AmeriCorps programs allow dedicated Americans of all ages to earn education awards while building powerful youth for powerful communities in East New York. Groundwork sponsors two types of AmeriCorps work opportunities:

• AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America)
  AmeriCorps VISTA members receive a living stipend while serving for at least one year as full-time volunteers working on sustainable, capacity-building projects that allow Groundwork to reach new people, meet community needs and improve overall program quality. • AmeriCorps State
  AmeriCorps State members work part-time, providing direct services to East New York children and families who are enrolled in Groundwork programs. Learn more about becoming an AmeriCorps State member.
