Ticket are $100 through July 7th and $125 thereafter, and all proceeds will be donated to Groundwork. Richard Buery to be Honored by Rush Philanthropies.
Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, the charitable foundation started by hip hop and fashion mogul Russell Simmons and his brother Danny Simmons, will honor Richard Buery, Co-founder and Executive Director of Groundwork, Inc. in a ceremony at One Time Warner Center. Richard Souto Leaving Groundwork, Inc. to Become Executive Director of New Heights Youth.
Groundwork's Associate Executive Director, Richard Souto, is leaving Groundwork to become the new Executive Director of New Heights Youth in the Bronx, replacing Nick Blatchford, the Founder and current Executive Director. New Heights is an innovative program that works with student-athletes in Harlem, Washington Heights, and the Bronx, providing them with academic support, developing them as leaders, and preparing them to be successful in high school, college and life.
